The Central District of Bam County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بم) is in Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bam.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 118,037 in 31,124 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 159,129 people in 46,173 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 167,810 inhabitants in 52,065 households.[2]
In 2018, Darijan Rural District was established in the district; Deh Bakri Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Deh Bakri District, which was divided into two rural districts;[6] and the village of Deh Bakri was renamed Deh Bid as the capital of the new district.[7]
