Cantuaria minor is a species of trapdoor spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]

This species was described in 1968 by Ray Forster from a single male specimen collected in Stewart Island. The holotype is stored at Otago Museum.[1]
The male is recorded at 9.3mm in length. The carapace and legs are orange brown. The abdomen is pale brown with black chevrons dorsally.[1]
This species is only known from Oban in Stewart Island, New Zealand.[1]
Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as Data Deficient with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[2]
