Bykhaw or Bykhov (Belarusian: Быхаў, romanized: Bychaŭ,[lower-alpha 1] IPA: [ˈbɨxaʊ]; Russian: Быхов; Polish: Bychów; Yiddish: ביחאָוו, romanized: Bihov; Lithuanian: Bychavas) is a town in Mogilev Region, Belarus.[2] It is located 44 kilometres (27 mi) south of Mogilev, and serves as the administrative center of Bykhaw District.[2][1] In 2009, its population was 17,031.[3] As of 2024, it has a population of 16,349.[1]
