Buggana Rajendranath Reddy (born 27 September 1970) is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He is a two time MLA and also served as the Minister for Finance, Planning and Legislative Affairs in the Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's ministry.[1][2][3] He has been nominated again by YSRCP to contest the Dhone Assembly seat in the 2024 Assembly Election.[4][5]

Reddy was born in Bethamcherla of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, to Buggana Ramnath Reddy, a former sarpanch of Bethamcherla village and Buggana Parvathi Devi. His maternal grandfather, K. V. Reddy, was a prominent Indian film maker.[6]
He did his schooling at The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet and pursued his pre university course at Madras Christian College, Chennai.[1][2] He later graduated as Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Vijayanagar Engineering College, Bellary, in 1992.[7]
Reddy was first elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly representing Dhone Assembly constituency in the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election defeating K. E. Prathap of TDP by a margin of 11,152 votes.[4][8] From 2016 to 2019, he served as the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Andhra Pradesh.[9] He was elected for the second time as an MLA in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election defeating K. E. Prathap of Telugu Desam Party, again by a huge margin of 35,516 votes.[10]
