Benicarló (Valencian pronunciation: [benikaɾˈlo]) is a city and municipality in the north of the province of Castelló, part of the Valencian Community, in the Mediterranean Coast of Spain, between the cities of Vinaròs and Peníscola, not too far south from the Ebre River.
