Thomas Benjamin Britton CEng FIMMM (born 18 April 1985) is a materials scientist, engineer and Associate Professor at The University of British Columbia.[3][5][1] His research interests are in micromechanics, deformation, strain and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD).[3] In 2014 he was awarded the Silver Medal of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), a society of which he then became a Fellow in 2016.[citation needed]
