Bedemyo (Russian: Бедемё; Yakut: Бэдьимэ, Becime) is a rural locality (a selo), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Bedeminsky Rural Okrug of Megino-Kangalassky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 40 kilometers (25 mi) from Nizhny Bestyakh, the administrative center of the district. Its population as of the 2010 Census was 592,[2][3] of whom 275 were male and 266 female, the same as recorded during the 2002 Census.[1]
