Avan signed with the Satria Muda Pertamina in 2012 shortly after he graduated from high school.[1] With the support of the Satria Muda management, represented by Christian Ronaldo Sitepu, they saw Avan's strong desire to develop.[2][3] Even though he is not on the roster for 2024 IBL season, Avan will take a short break and sharpen his basketball knowledge in Houston, Texas, where he is trained by former Satria Muda player, Mario Wuysang.[4][5]
Participated in the 2019 SEA Games as a member of the Indonesian national team.[6]
