August Anheuser "Gussie" Busch Jr. (March 28, 1899 ā September 29, 1989)[1] was an American brewing magnate who built the Anheuser-Busch Companies into the largest brewery in the world by 1957; he acted as company chairman from 1946 to 1975.[2]
