Askje Church

Askje Church (Norwegian: Askje kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Askje on the island of Mosterøy. It is the main church for the Mosterøy parish which is part of the Tungenes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1846 using designs by the architect Hans Linstow. The church seats about 220 people.[1][2]
