Andrew Perry Ingersoll (born 1940) is a professor of planetary science at the California Institute of Technology. Ingersoll was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1997.[4] He received the lifetime achievement award in planetary science, the Gerard P. Kuiper Prize, in 2007.
