Allied Military Government of Occupied Territories
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Allied Military Government of Occupied Territories (originally abbreviated AMGOT, later AMG) was the form of military rule administered by Allied forces during and after World War II within European territories they occupied.[1] The first experience of this interallied government model of occupied territory has been produced in Sicily during Husky Operation on July August 1943.[2]
