Alain Rey (French: [a.lɛ̃ ʁɛ]; (1928-08-30)30 August 1928 – (2020-10-28)28 October 2020)[1] was a French linguist, lexicographer and radio personality. He was the editor-in-chief at French dictionary publisher Dictionnaires Le Robert. His wife, Josette Rey-Debove, was also his colleague.
