Abdul Hamid Omar

Abdul Hamid bin Omar (25 March 1929 ā 1 September 2009) was the first Chief Justice of Malaysia.[1]
In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Omar is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Abdul Hamid. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
