The 496th Air Base Squadron (496 ABS) is a United States Air Force Geographically Separated Unit (GSU), stationed on the Spanish Air and Space Force (SASF) installation of Morón Air Base, Spain. The 496 ABS is part of the 65th Air Base Group, Lajes Field, Portugal under the 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.[3]
