The 1st Donetsk Army Corps (Russian: 1-й Донецкий армейский корпус) is a military formation of the Russian Ground Forces as part of the Southern Military District, formerly a militia of the Donetsk People's Republic.[1] It was officially incorporated into the Russian Federation on 31 December 2022, after Russia annexed the occupied territory of Donetsk.[2]
