Langogne ist eine Ortschaft am Oberlauf des Flusses Allier nördlich der Cevennen. Der Fluss Langouyrou mündet im Norden der Ortschaft in den Allier. Der Stausee Lac de Naussac liegt westlich der Gemeinde.
