D Glarner Alpe[1][2] si e Gebirgsgrubbe in dr Schwiz im nordöstlige Däil vo de Westalpe, wo in de Kantöön Glarus, Uri, Graubünde und Sanggalle lit. Es git e Hufe Dreiduusiger und e baar Gletscher. Dr höggst Gipfel isch dr Piz Russein mit 3'614 m ü. M. im Bärgmassiv vom Tödi.

S Gebiet wird (im Uurzäigersinn vo Norde us) vom Waalesee und Seez gege d Appezäller Alpe abgränzt, vom Rhii gege Rätikon und d Plessur-Alpe, vom Vorderrhii gege d Adula-Grubbe, vom obere Vorderrhii, Oberalpbass und Oberalpreuss gege d Gotthard-Grubbe, vo dr Reuss gege d Urner Alpe, vom Schäche, Vorder Schäche, Klausebass, Fätschbach und dr Linth gege d Schwyzer Alpe. D Glarner Alpe häi e Flechi vo 1900 km2.[2]
Am Südwest-Egge vo dr Grubbe isch dr Hauptkamm, wo in ere nordöstlige Richdig parallel zum Vorderrhii lit und in drei Est gablet. Im Südweste goot en andere Kamm parallel zum Hauptkamm, wo sich dr Gross Windgälle din befindet. Im Oste isch e sälbständige Kamm vorglaageret.
Im Innere vo dr Grubbe befinde sich s Murgdaal, s Schilsdaal, Wissdannedaal, Vättis im Taminadaal, s Calfeisedaal, s Kunkelsdaal, s Maderanerdaal und Elm im Särnfdaal. An irem Rand lige Glarus, Müülihorn, Flums, Mels, Bad Ragaz, Tamins, Ilanz, Trun, Disentis, Andermatt, Göschene, Erstfäld, Linthal, und Schwande. Im Norde befindet sich am Walesee dr niidrigst Punkt uf 419 m ü. M.. Vo därt bis zum höggste Ort het s e Hööchiunderschiid vo 3195 m.
