Shahat (Arabies: شحات) is 'n dorp wat geleë is in die Jabal al Akhdar-distrik in die noord-ooste van Libië.[1] Cirene was in antieke tye in dieselfde area geleë. Dit is geleë 24 kilometer oos van Al Bayda.

Shahat word by wyse van twee paaie verbind met Derna, die binnelandse pad hardloop deur Al Qubah en is deel van die Libiese kuspad; die ander pad hardloop deur Susa en Ras al Helal.
Gedurende die Libiese Burgeroorlog van 2011 was die stad een van die eerstes wat onder beheer van die Nasionale Oorgangsraad (rebelle) gekom het.
