Fusilli is ’n lang, dik, spiraalvormige soort pasta. Die naam kom waarskynlik van die Italiaanse woord fuso ("spil"), omdat dit tradisioneel "gespin" is deur die dun pasta om ’n klein staaf te draai om ’n spiraal te vorm.

Die meeste fusilli word van meel en eiers gemaak, maar soos met ander soorte pasta kan ander kleure verkry word deur byvoorbeeld beet, tamaties of spinasie by te voeg.[1]
Fusilli kan solied of hol wees. Hol fusilli word ook fusilli bucati genoem. Vanweë hul vorm klou souse maklik daaraan en fusilli word dikwels saam met pesto, carbonara of ’n tamatiesous voorgesit.
Die term word ook soms gebruik vir ’n kort, skroefvormige pasta wat buite Italië rotini genoem word. Dié term beteken "wieletjies".
