Yeravninsky District

Yeravninsky District (Russian: Ера́внинский райо́н; Buryat: Яруунын аймаг, Yaruunyn aimag) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the twenty-one in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia. It is located in the east of the republic. The area of the district is 25,600 square kilometers (9,900 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Sosnovo-Ozerskoye.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 18,705, with the population of Sosnovo-Ozerskoye accounting for 32.8% of that number.[3]
