Väätsa Parish (Estonian: Väätsa vald) was a rural municipality in central Estonia.[1] It was a part of Järva County. The municipality had a population of 1,479 (as of 1 January 2004) and covered an area of 195.33 km2. The population density was 7.6 inhabitants per km2.

Administrative centre of the municipality was Väätsa small borough (alevik). There were also 10 villages in Väätsa Parish: Aasuvälja, Lõõla, Piiumetsa, Reopalu, Röa, Roovere, Saueaugu, Ülejõe, Väljataguse, Vissuvere.
