Can you add a plot to Draft:Boy Meets Boy (2021 film)?
Not sure if the film is notable. DareshMohan (talk) 02:52, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, DareshMohan. The film is clearly notable. I haven’t watched it, though. Will see what I can do.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 09:12, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
Chhote Nawab (1961)
Hello @Mushy Yank, I hope you're doing well. I need your assistance with the above draft. I assume you're good at finding sources. You can also refer to the discussion here. Thanks for your consideration. C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 07:26, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, C1K98V, later, maybe. Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 09:12, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Just the standard Add-source script on top of the page (Monobook or Vector skin). Maybe iyou can set it in your Preferences/gadget section. I forgot how it appeared there. You just paste the link and the script can format it, in general.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 09:52, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
Notability of Draft:Ashok Galla
Hello @Mushy Yank, Greetings. Can you check this draft Draft:Ashok Galla? BubbleWombleBee12 (talk) 17:12, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, one film is not enough for WP:NACTOR and the significance of the award might be challenged in regard to WP:ANYBIO. My advice is to wait for a second significant role. Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 18:54, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for checking the draft. As per your advice i have withdrawn the submission. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BubbleWombleBee12 (talk • contribs) 19:06, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- @BubbleWombleBee12: He acted a child artist in one movie, not sure if that adds notability. DareshMohan (talk) 22:59, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- @DareshMohan: You're right, he acted in two movies as a child artist Pandanti Samsaram and Naani stated in deccan chronicle and HT Media— Preceding unsigned comment added by BubbleWombleBee12 (talk • contribs)
- If you think they can be considered significant, that might be enough but I am almost sure certain users would challenge the importance of the roles.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 10:38, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
@Mushy Yank: I have seen many pages are in mainspace for example First Frame Entertainments, Banerjee (actor), Bhavya Creations etc.., which the references are not so reliable and how can they are in mainspace? If you're okay to answer, can you please explain me this logic? and also previously i have asked you the notability of singer sahithi chaganti which i took the reference of Manisha Eerabathini. she also having 2 sources which is in mainspace. can you please help me how it works?— Preceding unsigned comment added by BubbleWombleBee12 (talk • contribs)

Clearly agree. I guess that following questionable Wikipedia policies is a must (i.e. notable cast and director mean nothing). Sad that ANI was even mentioned. DareshMohan (talk) 22:50, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, DareshMohan. I think ANI was mentioned as an invitation for me to open a section there, though. At least that's what I understood after being a bit surprised and puzzled by the comment, I confess. Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 23:08, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Came here to leave a note about notability tag removal and saw this. It was an invitation to take me to ANI. If you feel I am not following a process in AfD, I always welcome anyone take me to ANI. I am not special or better than anyone here so if I am not following policy then it should be addressed. --CNMall41 (talk) 20:26, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- Notability tags should not be removed until the AfD is closed because notability has yet been determined. For example, if an AfD is closed as No consensus then the notability tag can remain or be added but if closed Keep, then fine to remove as consensus has determined the topic is notable. Obviously Delete removes the the article entirely so a tag is moot. S0091 (talk) 21:06, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello to you too. I didn’t remove the notabilty tag from that page, I think. For the rest, thank you for your kind explanation, but, I am sorry, I confess that I disagree with you; see the template doc. Two tags indicating the same issue does not seem like a good idea. So there’s no obligation to leave the notability tag during an AfD, in my view. As for no consensus close= tag can stay. No, sorry, again, I disagree, it depends on each case and again, see template doc. Notabilty tags were designed to indicate a very serious issue, not just that a page needs attention or more sources. In other words: what would be the use of the tag, if the issue is not to be discussed in the near future? Discredit the page? Dishearten contributors? Sorry, but no.. Wrong approach in my opinion. Users may take a page to Afd again 10 times in a row if they want (I am not advising it) but, by the same token, the notability tag can be removed and should not be reinstated if someone with no COI disagrees in good faith (see template doc). Tags are a tool not an end. If the tool is not adapted, use another one. If you are sawing a branch, you don’t need your axe at the same time. Thank you.-My, oh my! - The page had a notability tag and was then taken to AfD and decided as no consensus which means the issue was not resolved. All good as if no sources are presented showing it being discussed as a whole per WP:NLIST, I am going to just send it back to AfD in a few months. But, the actual reason I came here was for the ANI discussion. As stated, I always welcome an ANI discussion about my conduct should someone feel I am not following guidelines. As I don't like others being contentious and taking away from my enjoyment editing Wikipedia, I would expect the same to apply to me if I am doing it to other editors. Cheers!--CNMall41 (talk) 22:37, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

Back to ANI, as you're explaining that's the main point of your message(s). I never mentioned ANI myself in the course of the Afd about Nunakkuzhi, I'm afraid, and was just replying to DareshMohan here, as I thought he had misunderstood your comment. It seems that I had understood what you meant the first time there, after all. You were kind enough to confirm it twice here, for which I thank you. I never mentioned your conduct in the course of that discussion, I think. You insist that As I don't like others being contentious and taking away from my enjoyment editing Wikipedia, I would expect the same to apply to me if I am doing it to other editors.
Sure, but, again, I never criticised your behaviour during the said discussion, unless I am mistaken and I can confirm I didn't find your replies or comments inappropriate there. I found your mention of ANI a bit bizarre and exaggerated, if anything, but that didn't distress me more than that, to be honest. Unless you are talking about other mentions of ANI by other persons and/or yourself or/and are implying other things in your message; if that was the case, I missed your point and, clearly, I didn't understand what you meant. Thank you for your time. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 23:09, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- I would say you understand based on the contentious nature of some of your comments in AfDs. It is also starting to feel like you are following AfDs I initiate. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:43, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello to you too....contentious...OK ....As for the rest, I will make a big effort and reply: no, I am not "following" Afds that you initiate.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 23:05, 11 August 2024 (UTC) I had missed the opening rather bizarre assertion!
I would say you understand
, which is not really the type of comments I like. No, if your message was implying something else than what you said and that I commented upon, I didn't get it and, to be honest, given your last message, I am not particularly interested to know.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank)

Good work, but having a notable cast doesn't guarantee notability only reliable sources do. DareshMohan (talk) 00:03, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
