Sulfate tellurites are mixed anion compounds that contain sulfate and tellurite ions.
Sulfate tellurites are of research interest to find non-linear optical materials. Desirable characteristics are high non-linearity, high transparency across a wide wavelength range, able to withstand high laser power, resistance to heat, and a large enough birefringence.[1]
