Urupema is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina in the South region of Brazil.[2][3][4][5] It has an area of approximately 353 km², a population of 2,656 inhabitants as of 2022 and a GDP per capita of R$ 36,058 as of 2021. It is often cited as the coldest city in Brazil.
