Tlyaratinsky District

Tlyaratinsky District (Russian: Тлярати́нский райо́н; Avar: Лъаратӏа мухъ) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-one in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 1,611.5 square kilometers (622.2 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Tlyarata.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 22,165, with the population of Tlyarata accounting for 5.4% of that number.[3]
