Template:UnsignedIP2
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
— Preceding unsigned comment added by an unspecified IP address
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:UnsignedIP2}} ). Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Used to sign anonymous unsigned comments. This template is similar to {{unsigned}} but omits the link to the user's user page, which does not exist for anonymous users. It is similar to {{unsigned IP}}, but with the parameters reversed for easier copying from the page history.
Usage
{{subst:UnsignedIP2|time and date|IP address}}
- time and date
- optional datestamp from edit history (remember to label it UTC)
- IP address
- IPv4 or IPv6 IP address of user who left comment
If the datestamp from the edit history appears in your local time that is set in your preferences, adjust the time to UTC using the difference you designated between the server time and local time.
