Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri[3] (6 June 1942 – 1 December 2006) was an Indian Islamic scholar, teacher and writer within the Salafi creed.[4][5] His book Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar), won a prize at the first Islamic conference on seerah Muslim World League in 1978.[6][5]
