Rafael Pascual Cortés (born 16 March 1970, in Madrid) is a Spanish former volleyball player who is nicknamed "El Toro", "El Macho", and "El León". He is widely regarded as one of the best volleyball players of all time.[1] A two-time Olympian (1992 and 2000),[2] he was named the most valuable player of the 1998 FIVB World Championship in Japan.[1]
