Sathyapriya Bhavani Shankar (born 31 December 1989) known professionally as Priya Bhavani Shankar,[lower-alpha 1] is an Indian actress and former television presenter who primarily appears in Tamil films and in addition to few Telugu films.[2][3][4]

Priya made her acting debut with the television show Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (2014-2016), which won her the Vijay Television Award for Best Find of the Year. She started her film career with the commercially successful Tamil film Meyaadha Maan (2017).[5] She has since appeared in successful films such as Kadaikutty Singam (2018), Monster (2019), Mafia: Chapter 1, Yaanai (2022), Thiruchitrambalam (2022), and Pathu Thala (2023). For Kadaikutty Singam, she received Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Tamil nomination.[6]
