Mozhginsky District

Mozhginsky District (Russian: Можги́нский райо́н; Udmurt: Можга ёрос, Možga joros) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the republic. The area of the district is 1,997 square kilometers (771 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Mozhga (which is not administratively a part of the district).[2] Population: 28,293 (2010 Russian census);[4] 30,358 (2002 Census);[8] 30,236 (1989 Soviet census).[9]
