Mazamorra or masamorra[1] (from Andalusian Arabic: بسمة, romanized: pičmáṭ, from Ancient Greek: παξαμάδιον, romanized: paxamádion, lit. 'little cookie', influenced by Spanish masa, 'dough')[2] is the name for numerous traditional dishes from the Iberian Peninsula and Hispanic America.
