Martin Sinković

Martin Sinković (born 10 November 1989) is a Croatian rower. He is the younger brother of fellow rower Valent Sinković, with whom he has won three Olympic gold medals. The brothers won gold in double sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the coxless pairs at the 2020 Summer Olympics and the coxless pairs at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He won the silver medal in the quadruple sculls at the 2012 Summer Olympics with his brother, David Šain and Damir Martin.[1][2] Sinković is a six-time world champion, twice in quadruple sculls, double sculls and coxless pairs each.

The Sinković brothers set a new world record at the 2014 World Rowing Championships where they were the first men's double sculls team to go under 6 minutes for their race time.[3]
The brothers have been racing together internationally since 2008.[4] In 2008, they won the silver medal in the double sculls at the under-23s World Championships.[4] In 2009, they won the gold in the quadruple sculls at the under-23 World Championships together with David Šain and Damir Martin,.[4]
Sinković is the world record holder for the 6000 m on the indoor rower 18:05.7 (1:30.4).[5]
