Londos family
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Londos family (Greek: Οικογένεια Λόντου) was a military family from Vostitsa (modern Aigio), which flourished during the last century of Ottoman rule in Greece, through the Greek War of Independence. They declined in prominence beginning in the 1840s.
The family was part of the wider Londos clan, whose other main branch was at Patras.[1][2]
Its members were connected by family ties with the families: Charalambi, Straight, Maximou, Geroulanou, Kalliga, etc.[3]
