Kulinsky District

Kulinsky District (Russian: Кулинский райо́н; Lak: Ккуллал кIану) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-one in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It is located in the south of the republic. The area of the district is 649 square kilometers (251 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Vachi.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 11,174, with the population of Vachi accounting for 7.3% of that number.[3]
