Kharp (Russian: Харп; Nenets: Харп, lit. 'aurora') is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in the Priuralsky District of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia, on the bank of the Sob River near the Polar Urals. Population: 6,413 (2010 Russian census);[1] 7,278 (2002 Census);[4] 5,381 (1989 Soviet census).[5]
