Jack Stokes (politician)

John Edward (Jack) Stokes (February 17, 1923[1] – January 8, 2000[2]) was a Canadian politician. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1967 to 1985, and was Speaker of the legislature from 1977 to 1981. Stokes was a member of the New Democratic Party.
