Isabel Capeloa Gil

Isabel Capeloa Gil (born in Mira, Mira on 22 July 1965) is the 6th Rector of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP)[1] and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities.[2] She is a Full Professor of Culture Studies at the School of Human Sciences.[3] She studied in Lisbon (University of Lisbon), Munich (Ludwig Maximilian University) and University of Chicago and holds a PhD in German Studies from UCP. Previously, she was Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalization (2012–2016) and the Dean of the School of Human Sciences (2005–2012), of the Catholic University of Portugal.[4]
