Grakhovsky District

Grakhovsky District (Russian: Гра́ховский райо́н; Udmurt: Грах ёрос, Grah joros) is an administrative[1] and municipal[7] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the republic. The area of the district is 967.7 square kilometers (373.6 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Grakhovo.[2] Population: 9,354 (2010 Russian census);[4] 10,879 (2002 Census);[9] 11,699 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Grakhovo accounts for 34.7% of the district's total population.[4]
