George Baxt

George Baxt (June 11, 1923 – June 28, 2003) was an American screenwriter and author of crime fiction,[1] best remembered for creating the gay black detective, Pharaoh Love. Four of his novels were finalists for the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Mystery.
