Fragaria pentaphylla is a tetraploid species of wild strawberry native to China. In Chinese, it is called the "five-leaf strawberry" (simplified Chinese: 五叶草莓; traditional Chinese: 五葉草莓; pinyin: wǔyè cǎoméi).[1]
