Edida Nageswara Rao

Edida Nageswara Rao (24 April 1934 ā 4 October 2015) was an Indian film producer in Telugu cinema. He produced films with a classical and realistic touch under the banner, Poornodaya Movie Creations. Almost all of the films he produced went on to win National Film Awards. He won five state Nandi Awards.

Nageswara Rao produced Siri Siri Muvva (1976), Sankarabharanam (1980), Swati Mutyam (1986), and Swayam Krushi (1987) which were showcased at the Moscow Film Festival.[1][2][3] Swati Mutyam was India's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 59th Academy Awards.[4][5]
