Debyossky District

Debyossky District (Russian: Дебёсский райо́н; Udmurt: Дэбес ёрос, Debes joros) is an administrative[1] and municipal[7] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the republic. The area of the district is 1,033 square kilometers (399 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Debyosy.[2] Population: 12,665 (2010 Russian census);[4] 14,085 (2002 Census);[9] 13,981 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Debyosy accounts for 45.2% of the district's total population.[4]
