Darwan Singh Negi VC (4 March 1883 ā 24 June 1950) was one of the first Indian soldiers to be awarded the Victoria Cross (VC),[1] the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
