Cacciatore (/ˌkɑːtʃəˈtɔːri/, /ˌkætʃ-/,[1] Italian: [kattʃaˈtoːre]; lit. 'hunter') refers to a meal prepared with onions, herbs, usually tomatoes, often peppers, and sometimes wine. It is typical of the Italian cuisine.
