Bill Thompson (American football)

William Allen Thompson (born October 10, 1946) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback and safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round[1] of the 1969 NFL Draft. He played college football at Maryland State College and was inducted into the Hawk Hall of Fame in 1984.[2]

Thompson was a three-time Pro Bowl selection[3] and was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 1987.[4]
