Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, also spelled as Baytul Mukarrom (Arabic: بيت المكرّم, Bengali: বায়তুল মোকাররম; lit. 'The Honored House'), is located at the center of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The mosque was completed in 1968.[1][2] It has a capacity of more than 42,000 worshipers.[3]
