Atamanovka (Russian: Атама́новка) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) and a railway station in the central part of Chitinsky District of Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, located on the left bank of the Ingoda River, 18 kilometers (11 mi) southeast of Chita. Population: 10,381 (2010 Russian census);[1] 9,463 (2002 Census);[5] 10,269 (1989 Soviet census);[6] 190 (1917).
