Abū Sufyān ibn al-Ḥārith ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib (Arabic: أبو سفيان بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب), born al-Mughīra (المغيرة), was a companion and first cousin of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.[1]
