Abdul Ghani Gilong

In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Gilong is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Abdul Ghani. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
Abdul Ghani bin Gilong (30 May 1932 – 6 March 2021) was a Malaysian politician.[1] He was a federal cabinet minister in various portfolios from 1968 to 1978.[2][3]
